Job summary

Providence in Petaluma, CA seeks a Laboratory Assistant for full-time, 8-hour variable shifts. You will process lab specimens, perform clerical duties, monitor quality data, and support Medical Technologists in clinical tests.

You may perform phlebotomy and help collect other specimens, answer phones with lab questions, and complete send-outs. California CPT I or CPT II license required at hire; 2 years of college preferred; 1 year clinical lab experience desired.

Qualifications

• California CPT I or CPT II license required at hire.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.

Required Qualifications:

• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire, Or
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training:2 years of college.
• One (1) yearexperience as a clinical laboratory assistant in an acute care laboratory.
