Job summary

Providence is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA. This full-time role involves 8-hour shifts of variable timing and duties across specimen processing, phlebotomy, clerical tasks, and assisting technologists.

The candidate will maintain QC data, support equipment, and help with send-outs while providing excellent patient-focused care in a busy clinical lab environment.

Qualifications

• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or II license required upon hire.
• Two years of college coursework preferred.
• One year of clinical laboratory assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process laboratory specimens and perform clerical duties.

Laboratory Assistant

Required Qualifications

• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire, Or


• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications
