Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka in California is seeking an Associate Laboratory Assistant to join our clinical lab team.

This full-time role involves 10-hour day shifts under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and the Director of Laboratory Services, performing routine and a moderate amount of technical work while keeping lab areas and equipment clean and safe. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and California CPT I or CPT II license upon hire.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Licenses CPT I or CPT II must be obtained upon hire.

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire, Or
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous laboratory, medical office or hospital experience is desirable.
