Job summary

Qualifications

• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or II license required upon hire.
• Two years of college coursework preferred.
• One year of clinical laboratory assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process laboratory specimens and perform clerical duties.
• Maintain daily quality control data and assist with lab equipment.
• Assist Medical Technologists in clinical lab tests and manage send-outs.
• Answer phone and support units with laboratory questions; perform phlebotomy as needed.
