Job Title: Laboratory Assistant - Drosophila Care

Location: Chapel Hill, NC

Work Schedule: Weekdays with occasional evenings or weekends

Position Summary

The Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for supervising the care of Drosophila stocks used in research within the Peifer lab, which studies embryonic development using genetic, cell biological, and biochemical tools.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated competencies to perform the work
  • Experience in lab animal care, preferably with Drosophila
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional relevant experience and skills in genetic and cell biological techniques
