Job summary

Pfizer is seeking staff to provide animal husbandry, handling, restraint, and health surveillance for laboratory animals at our US site. You will support basic veterinary care under staff guidance and assist with cage wash and equipment maintenance. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Experience with laboratory animals is preferred; AALAS certification is a plus. Weekend work and on-site duties are required in an essential personnel role with comprehensive

• Experience working with laboratory animals is a plus.
• AALAS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine animal husbandry duties as directed.
• Observe and report status of animal health, food and water consumption, appearance, behavior.
• Provide support in basic veterinary medical treatment as prescribed by the veterinary staff.
• Support cage wash equipment operations and maintenance.
• Support research by providing basic technical services (restraint, dose administration, blood collection) to research investigators.
