Job summary

HireLifeScience is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Animal Technician to join our onsite team in the United States. You will perform animal husbandry, health observations, sample collection, and assist with necropsies in a Biosafety Level 1–2 facility, following AAALAC standards and NIH guidelines.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, strict documentation of procedures, and adherence to SOPs. Day shift, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend overtime. High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with animals preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs; frequent 50 lbs.
• Able to work in hot, cold, humid, and noisy environments.
• Follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily animal care and health observations.
• Maintain documentation and sanitation per SOPs.
• Assist with necropsies and scientific procedures.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and participate on site committees.
