Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Analyst I to perform routine scientific tasks in a accredited laboratory under close supervision. You will follow SOPs, prepare samples and reagents, and operate laboratory instruments to support client testing needs.

The role requires basic lab knowledge, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines. This is a hands-on position in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with related experience or a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of lab principles, terminology, and instrumentation used in analytical testing.
• Strong prioritization and time-management skills to meet deadlines and rush orders.
• Computer literacy is required for data entry and record keeping.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements to prepare and process samples for analytical testing.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Operate and set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Record observations and data accurately and interpret results at a basic level.
• Maintain logs, notebooks, and equipment records; ensure data integrity.
