Responsibilities

• Accepts specimens from delivery person, window or pneumatic tube system. Verifies labeling and requisitions, ensures matching information.
• Notifies appropriate personnel for unacceptable samples and documents per SOP.
• Timely processing of all samples; assigns to appropriate racks and labs; observes time‑sensitive protocols.
