Responsibilities

• Process and accession specimens into LIS; ensure correct routing.
• Manage LIS work queues and QA audits.
• Coordinate specimen transport between providers and labs.
• Answer phones and provide courteous service to lab staff.
• Document results and communicate critical values per policy.
