Job summary

Responsibilities

• Notifies appropriate personnel for unacceptable samples and documents SOP.
• Process and accession specimens into LIS, including time-sensitive cases.
• Register patients and place orders based on requisitions, ensure accuracy.
• Answer phones, provide customer service to staff, and relay results per policy.
• Process samples for automated instrumentation and prepare for transport.
