Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Labor Relations professional to support field operations at the Waste Treatment Plant site near Richland, WA. The role focuses on administering the CBA, ensuring contractual compliance and applying policies consistently.

You will analyze data, advise management on labor relations matters, and help develop procedures while collaborating with Local Union Officers. This position requires strong communication and the ability to work under general supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of professional experience in labor relations, business services, human resources, or construction supervisory role.
• Associates degree with 5 years of professional experience in labor relations or related fields.
• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of professional experience in labor relations, business services, human resources, construction supervisory role, or 5 years of journeyman craft experience.
• Strong Microsoft Computing skills, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs routine labor relations functions following established procedures.
• Researches, analyzes data, and prepares recommendations on assigned projects.
• Displays communication skills and applies theory to practice in assignments.
• Establishes absenteeism, turnover and productivity programs.
• Provides assistance to line management on labor relations matters.
• Assists in developing and implementing labor relations policies and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains a good relationship with Local Union Officers and Representatives.
• Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing safety and quality.
