Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Operations Specialist for the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant. You will provide operations and maintenance input to design reviews, coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams, and ensure operability and safety of HLW systems.

The role requires BS in Engineering or Science with 10+ years of experience (or equivalent), strong communication, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. On-site at Richland, WA with site access requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Associates degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations and maintenance input to design for HLW systems.
• Coordinate with design and maintenance teams to ensure operability and safety.
• Perform facility walkdowns and support training materials development.
• Represent operations interfaces with other project groups.
