Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Labor Relations professional to provide support across Field Organizations, ensuring the Collective Bargaining Agreement is applied per contractual terms and applicable laws. The role emphasizes data analysis, policy development, and collaboration with management and unions.

Based at the Waste Treatment Plant site, you will work a 4x10 schedule M-Th, and must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, labor relations, or human resources; 3 years of professional experience in labor relations or related field.
• Associates degree in business management, labor relations, or human resources; 5 years of professional experience.
• High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of professional experience in labor relations or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine labor relations functions under general supervision.
• Handle wage administration, safety, EEO and training.
• Research, analyze data, and prepare recommendations on assigned projects.
• Demonstrate good communication skills and apply theory to practice.
• Use independent, sound judgment to solve complex problems.
• Establish and monitor absenteeism, turnover and productivity programs.
• Provide assistance to line management on labor relations matters.
• Assist in development and implementation of labor relations policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports in conformance with legal requirements or organizational needs.
• Maintain good working relationships with Local Union Officers and Representatives.
