Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate.
• Three years of satisfactory business or investigative experience with extensive public contact.
• Bachelor's degree or degree in labor relations acceptable.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise local and unit officers on CSEA policies and services.
• Plan and develop local programs and services.
• Assist members with employment problems.
• Represent members before state government on salary and employment matters.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of employment and write contracts.
• Survey needs for new locals and units.
• Attend local, unit and regional meetings.
