Responsibilities include developing tools and training, leading crisis response, and ensuring processes meet employment laws. Travel up to 40% is required in a fast-paced, virtual team setting.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of HR principles, concepts, and industry-standard methodologies as applied to labor relations.
• Knowledge of federal and state employee-related laws, including NLRA, wage and hour, OSHA and EEO.
• Ability to work reactively on crisis-oriented issues under limitations while exercising sound judgment.
• Ability to forge deep relationships and build trust with partners and customers.
• Data-driven decision making that identifies and manages risk and resolves contingency plans appropriately.
• Proven track-record of managing multiple projects with prioritization and continuous improvement.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work within a virtual team across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of short and long-term labor relations strategies across US markets.
• Design and implement tools, materials, training, and communications to sustain a positive work environment.
• Advise owner/operators, employees, and vendors on labor-related trends and compliant practices.
• Monitor employment trend changes and communicate proactively to restaurants.
• Collaborate with Operations, Global People, and Global Impact to support market-level labor strategies.
