Job summary

McDonald's is seeking a Restaurant People Manager to lead the HR function within the restaurant, overseeing hiring, pay administration, benefits, training, and policy enforcement.

The role drives recruitment and onboarding, manages performance evaluations, and ensures compliance with employment laws. This position requires strategic HR partnership with leadership and hands-on delivery of HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the HR strategy, including talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Provides support and guidance to management on complex HR questions and sensitive issues.
• Manages talent acquisition processes including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring in collaboration with department managers.
• Analyzes compensation and benefits trends; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs.
• Implements learning and development programs that provide internal opportunities for employees.
• Oversees disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations in line with policy.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Keeps up-to-date with HR trends, regulations, and new technologies.
