Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Labor Relations Manager to support labor relations activities across the organization. As an independent indirect leader, you will build positive relationships among all levels, external labor partners, and represented bargaining units.

You will advise HR colleagues, serve as chief negotiator in bargaining negotiations, and oversee contract administration. Strong facilitation skills and knowledge of labor laws are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Labor Relations, or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in labor and employee relations.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience collective bargaining required, Chief Spokesperson experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with contract interpretation, grievance processing, and facilitating communication with unions and management.

Responsibilities

• Advise HR colleagues on labor relations matters and develop preventative action plans.
• Serve as chief negotiator in collective bargaining negotiations.
• Collaborate with leadership and external labor partners to finalize agreements and maintain positive relations.
• Manage administration of labor contracts and interpret contracts for managers and HR.
