Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of professional HR experience in the areas of employee or labor relations.
  • Additional work experience may substitute for up to four (4) years of education.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and federal, state, and applicable HR laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of employment laws including collective bargaining and employer-employee relations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional support to the Program Director, Labor Relations.
  • Foster positive working relationships with labor unions.
  • Resolve union disputes and ensure compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
