Job summary

APL Logistics is seeking an Advisor to lead the CLS network labor management program across the Americas. You will develop and manage the labor management program, review data from CLS sites, and provide reports, analytics, and recommendations to operations management and engineering staff.

You will counsel CLS management on action plans and corrective measures, drive process improvements, and coordinate LMS deployments with IT and vendor partners to maximize labor savings and productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in 3PL warehousing, distribution centre or fulfilment.
• Experience conducting work measurements in DC operations.
• Lean training and Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Experience deploying labor management programs across multiple sites.
• Experience integrating LMS with time and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead uniform Labor Management Program across CLS sites in Americas region.
• Develop and maintain CLS labor guidelines and savings targets.
• Drive process design and re-engineering for CLS operations.
• Set labor standards for CLS network.
• Develop templates for job functions in CLS network.
• Plan and manage LMS deployment across sites.
• Counsel senior CLS management on action plans and corrective measures.
• Coordinate changes to labor standards with site teams.
• Manage special projects with outside contractors and vendors.
• Be the expert on work methods and engineered standards.
• Develop training programs for management teams.
• Partner with HR and Legal to ensure compliance.
• Support analytics and dashboards using BI tools.
