Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar.
• 3–5 years of litigation experience in CA state and federal courts.
• Strong discovery, e-discovery, motion practice, and deposition skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including single-plaintiff employment matters.
• Wage and hour class actions, PAGA and representative actions.
• Provide employment-related advice and counsel to clients.
• Draft and respond to written discovery and manage electronic discovery.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Take and defend depositions and support case strategy with partners and team members.

Litigation Associate (Labor & Employment / Business Litigation)

An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a talented Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience in California state and federal courts to join its Orange County office. Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including:
• Single-plaintiff employment matters
• Wage and hour class actions
• PAGA and representative actions
• Provide employment-related advice and counsel to clients
• Draft and respond to written discovery
• Manage all aspects of electronic discovery
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Take and defend depositions
• Support case strategy and collaborate with partners and team members on complex litigation matters

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California Bar
• 3-5 years of litigation experience in California state and federal courts
• Experience handling employment litigation matters, including wage and hour and representative actions
• Strong experience with discovery, e-discovery management, motion practice, and depositions
• Excellent academic credentials
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior trial experience
• Large law firm experience
• Judicial clerkship experience

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $260,000 - $365,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
