Jobot is seeking an Attorney specializing in Labor & Employment to join our established full-service firm in Detroit. The role requires 2-4 years of relevant experience, strong research and writing skills, and fluency in discovery management.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in employment-related litigation and client counseling.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Experience in managing discovery.
• Admitted to Michigan State Bar, or eligible to promptly become admitted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and high-quality legal research.
• Assist with all areas of discovery including drafting requests and responses.
• Prepare legal briefs and other pleadings.
• Coordinate with partner-level attorneys on documents and production.
• Draft responses to EEOC and MDCR charges.
• Handle employment-related litigation including motions, mediations, and depositions.
• Prepare trial materials and assist at pretrial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
