Candidates should have a JD from a top-tier law school, California Bar admission in good standing, and 4–7 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in complex employment

Qualifications

• Top-tier JD with excellent academic record required.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 4–7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience.
• Significant wage/hour, PAGA, and class action experience in state and federal courts.
• Strong advisory background on compliance with employment laws.
• Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience required.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively; comfort with AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in wage/hour, PAGA, and class action matters.
• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation from inception through resolution.
• Advise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment laws.
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, document review, and responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings and settlement documents.
• Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical client solutions.
