The Los Angeles office of a mid-sized law firm is seeking a junior associate focused on management-side employment litigation. You will gain direct exposure to litigation strategy, client interaction, and trial preparation, with early responsibility in complex matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar admission.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently handle discovery responsibilities.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in litigation involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant issues.
• Manage discovery processes and develop a discovery strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Stay current on employment laws and regulatory developments.
