Permanent Placements LLC is seeking a mid-level Labor & Employment Associate for its Los Angeles office. The role targets lawyers with at least four years of employment litigation experience and a desire to handle sophisticated matters for diverse clients.

Significant responsibility includes handling matters through all stages of litigation in a collaborative, growth-oriented practice. The ideal candidate will possess a JD, California Bar standing, and a track record of compelling legal writing,

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• California Bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum 4 years of employment litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage litigation through all stages.
• Strong project and case management skills.
• Excellent legal writing and advocacy abilities.
• Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
• Collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Represent employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters.
• Independently manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Handle all phases of litigation: strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, court appearances, trial prep, settlement.
• Develop litigation strategies and communicate recommendations to clients.
• Contribute to business and practice development initiatives.
