LHH is working with a dynamic and well-established mid-sized, Chambers ranked law firm in New York is seeking a mid-to-senior level Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded practice. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move away from BigLaw rigidity while still doing high-level, sophisticated work in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, grievance proceedings, collective bargaining, and litigation across state/federal courts and agencies
• Draft and negotiate collective bargaining agreements, employment agreements, NDAs, separation/settlement agreements, and related materials
• Conduct management training and webinars on topics such as sexual harassment prevention, wage & hour compliance, and labor relations
• Review, update, and draft employee handbooks and workplace policies

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of labor & employment law experience
• Strong background in collective bargaining and grievance handling
• Self-starters who are collaborative, proactive, and ready to take ownership of their practice
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days/week in office
• Billable target: 1800 hours, with bonus triggered at 2000 hours
• Compensation: $248K to $348K base
• Bonuses: Typically ~80% of Cravath, with potential for more depending on performance
• Benefits: 3% safe harbor 401(k) contribution, health benefits, and strong mentorship culture
