Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate for its Uniondale, NY office who will provide legal advice and represent clients in labor and employment matters. The role requires 2-3 years of experience, strong research and writing skills, and admission to NY bar.

You will draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlements, and collaborate with a team to develop effective arguments while staying current on federal and state employment law trends.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state (NY).
• 2-3 years of experience in labor and employment law or commercial litigation.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills with ability to draft clear and persuasive documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in labor and employment matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and provide accurate legal advice to clients.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and administrative proceedings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys to strategize and develop strong legal arguments.
• Stay current on federal/state labor and employment laws and trends.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with exceptional service.

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in labor and employment matters
