Responsibilities include patient check-in, coordinating with office staff, and performing selected nursing procedures under RN supervision. BCLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Formación

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with computers preferred.
• BCLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments within the department.
• Verify that physician orders for upcoming appointments have been received and obtain any needed orders.
• Perform patient check-in and collect registration and insurance information.
• Request prior medical records when needed and assist nursing staff with routine duties.
