Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with computers preferred.
• BCLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments within the department.
• Verify physician orders for upcoming appointments and request missing orders.
• Check-in patients and collect registration and insurance information.
• Request prior medical records when needed.
• Assist nursing staff with selected procedures under RN supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
