Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Labor & Delivery Technician for full-time night shifts. You will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the registered nurse, and help maintain a safe, clean environment in a dynamic maternal health unit.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, aiding in admissions and transfers, and promptly communicating patient status changes to the RN.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Certified BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Maintains clean and safe environment under RN supervision.
• Assist with patient admission, ambulation, positioning, discharge/transfer procedures.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Performs tasks under the direction of the RN and handles routine care duties.
