HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist (Labor and Delivery) to join our team in Austin, TX.

You will prepare the surgical suite, assist the obstetric team, and help ensure a safe, compassionate delivery experience for newborns and families. You will work in a collaborative environment with access to training and mentorship, on‑call support, and pathways for growth in obstetric surgery.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technician work experience in acute care setting.
• Labor and Delivery Surg Technician work experience preferred.
• Certification and ongoing training required per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments and supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Provide instruments and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and perform instrument counts.
• Collaborate with the team for a safe, patient‑centered delivery experience.
