Responsibilities

  • Maintain a sterile field and ensure instruments function properly.
  • Work closely with the surgical team for patient-centered care.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
  • Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
  • Providing instruments, equipment, and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
  • Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
  • Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient‑centered care and a seamless surgical experience
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or Associate Degree, or work experience in lieu of degree
  • One year of Certified Surgical Technologist experience in Labor and Delivery – required
