Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a Certified Scrub Tech to join our surgical services team. You will provide direct patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations and assist the surgeon and anesthesiologist during operative procedures.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrub Tech required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum Education: Certified Scrub Tech; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patients in the surgical environment.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition.
• Assist surgeon during operative and improvement activities; ensure OR readiness and obtain supplies.
