Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center seeks an Obstetrical Technician to support labor and delivery services under RN supervision. The role includes scrubbing and assisting in LDRP procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience and must hold CST certification. Full-time and part-time positions with comprehensive benefits are available, including tuition assistance and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assist in labor patient care and prepare for procedures in LDRP.
• Perform basic patient care procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Set up and scrub on operative procedures in LDRP and assist surgeons with instruments.
• Maintain sterile field, pass instruments, and help with patient positioning and dressings.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the operating room and stock necessary supplies.
• Transport patients as needed and advocate for patient rights and confidentiality.
