Intermountain Health Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to learn scrub techniques in Labor/Delivery. You will assist with C-section prep, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum care under RN supervision.

This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly, three 12-hour shifts, competitive pay starting at $18.94 hourly, and benefits. Ideal candidates have CNA and BLS, strong patient care, and a commitment to a one-year training plan.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient rooms with equipment and supplies for labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Assist patients with bed baths, hygiene, and ambulation.
• Record vital signs of patients and newborns.
• Set up delivery rooms for vaginal deliveries and C-sections, assist RN.
• Maintain sterility and assist with instrument counts during procedures.
• Deliver basic patient care and report changes to the RN.
• May perform clerical duties as assigned.
