Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to join our patient-focused team. The nurse will collaborate with physicians and other professionals to treat patients, monitor conditions, administer medications, document care, educate patients, and participate in care planning.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS certification. ACLS/NRP are preferred qualifications for advanced care scenarios.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
