Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to deliver evidence-based labor and delivery care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include medication administration with bar-scanning, electronic documentation, patient education, and assisting with discharge planning. A NJ nursing license and BLS/CPR are required; BSN preferred with 3-year attainment target.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey nursing license required.
• Active AHA BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN preferred; must obtain within 3 years.
• 6+ months RN experience or participate in HMH Nurse Residency Program.
• 2–3 years Labor & Delivery RN preferred; Mother baby/nursery/SCN experience desired.
• NRP and ACLS preferred.
• Strong teamwork and patient-centered care focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Communicate patient status with care team and family.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and digital documentation.
• Document care in point-of-care systems for each patient.
• Provide patient/family education to optimize health and management.
• Assist with safe discharge and transition planning.
