Job summary

Medical City Lewisville is seeking a Labor & Delivery - RN for PRN night shifts. The Staff RN will provide direct nursing care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with the health care team in the Labor & Delivery unit.

Qualifications include ACLS/BLS/NRP within specified timeframes, RN license, ADN with BSN preferred, and at least 1 year of L&D experience. This role supports a Level III NICU and acute obstetric care.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NRP certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• RN license required (active).
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience in Labor & Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with Medical Center policies and procedures.
• Assess nursing care needs, plan interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise patient care and support staff as charge nurse when assigned.
