Job summary

Texas Health Resources’ Texas Health HEB in Bedford, TX is seeking a PRN III Labor and Delivery RN for day shifts. The role requires at least 1 year of RN experience, with L&D experience preferred, and completion of BCLS/ACLS/NRP/NRPA/CPI within required timeframes.

You will deliver care using the Nursing Process, assess patients, plan care, intervene, and evaluate outcomes in a 9-bed L&D unit with Level III NICU and high-risk obstetrics.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse on Hire required.
• 1 year of RN experience required; L&D experience strongly preferred.
• BCLS, ACLS, NRP, NRPA, CPI training within the stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient and plans the care.
• Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates outcomes.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control into care.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and settings.
