Texas Health HEB is seeking a part-time Night RN for Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic, accredited women's center. Candidates should have RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, NRPA, CPI within 90 days of hire, and 1 year of RN experience (L&D preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS – within 90 days of hire.
• NRP – within 90 days of hire.
• NRPA - within 90 days of hire.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 1 year of RN experience in Labor & Delivery strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Initiates information sharing with patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift and during transfers.
