Job summary

St. Tammany Health System invites applications for a Registered Nurse in Covington, LA. The role coordinates clinical activities for Laboring, Antenatal and Post-Partum patients, employing the nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate, and deliver patient care.

The successful candidate will hold an active LA RN license, have BLS on hire, and preferably ALS/NRP within 3 months, with strong teamwork supporting nurses, unit staff and hospital goals.

Qualifications

• Board-certified nursing program completed and active RN license in Louisiana.
• At least 1 year labor and delivery experience preferred.
• BLS certification required on hire; ALS/NRP preferred within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical activities for Laboring, Antenatal and Post-Partum patients.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants and CNAs.
