Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• One year of RN experience with at least 1000 hours of clinical practice.
• CT RN license and BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Additional certifications may be required in specific specialties.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of care for complex, multi-varianced populations of patients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient and family needs.
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery.
• Care for a full patient assignment with expanding responsibilities over time.
• Act as a preceptor and charge nurse as needed.
