The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse Acute (RN) in Labor and Delivery to provide comprehensive care during labor and delivery, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and applying evidence-based practices.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, CT RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience with 1000 hours of clinical exposure. Night shifts, tuition benefits, and loan forgiveness are offered.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Connecticut.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a plan of care for complex, multi-varianced populations of patients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Provide care that addresses physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
• Manage and organize multiple clinical priorities.
• Act as a preceptor and charge nurse as needed.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity in all interactions with patients/families and co-workers.
