Incredible Health is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN in Elmhurst, IL. Night shift options are available, with full-time and part-time opportunities and strong benefits in a Magnet-recognized environment.

You will assess and monitor laboring patients, administer medications (including epidurals), provide education and emotional support, and document care per guidelines. Requires ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1+ year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1+ years in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or related field preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and medical equipment.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, and implement care for laboring mothers with obstetric team.
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, intervening as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments, including epidurals and IV fluids.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families throughout labor and delivery.
• Document patient status and outcomes per guidelines.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Elmhurst, IL area for the following position: Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN). Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Antepartum, Birthing, Gynecology, or Pelvic exams.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical equipment pertinent to Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers, working closely with obstetricians and other healthcare providers
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, making timely interventions as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and intravenous fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process
• Document and report patient status, changes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines

Salary: $52,060 to $100,980 /year
