Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient and family teaching and supervise nursing staff as needed.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and treatment responses.
• Maintain a safe environment for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum care.
