Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is hiring a Registered Nurse for a nights shift to deliver safe patient care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the nursing team to respond quickly to changes in condition, including NICU/Nursery support when needed.

Required RN license, BLS and NRP per hire with 1 year of acute care experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
NRP (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
One year experience in an acute care setting with experience in nursery or NICU environment.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Provides for a safe environment for patients and visitors.
NICU- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice with assistance to neonates.
