Job summary

Commonwealth Health seeks a dedicated Labor and Delivery nurse to provide specialized care for expectant mothers during and after childbirth. The ideal candidate will have the necessary nursing credentials issued by Pennsylvania, along with certifications in CPR and neonatal care programs. This position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for ongoing education and development.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice professional nursing issued by the State of Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program after orientation.
• Completion of STABLE Program within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of Cardiac Advanced Life Support Program within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course after orientation.
• Fetal Monitoring Competency after orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart rates.
• Manage contractions during labor.
• Assist physicians with deliveries or C-sections.
• Provide postpartum care.
