St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit to coordinate and provide patient care for all assigned patients.

You will conduct assessments, develop an individualized care plan, teach families, and facilitate discharge planning. The role requires 2 years of L&D RN experience, ADN required with BSN preferred, Texas RN license (or Compact with Texas license within 90 days), and BLS with ACLS/ALS per policy.

Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical nursing experience as an RN in labor and delivery.
• ADN from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Texas RN license (or Compact with Texas license within 90 days).
• BLS and ACLS/ALS certification required per policy.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and provide patient care for all assigned L&D patients.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Provide family-centered teaching and discharge planning.
• Administer medications and document accurately.
• Identify changes and report to physician or charge nurse.
• Continuously evaluate and modify the plan of care.
• Communicate significant information to the care team.
