Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Associate degree in nursing; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months Labor & Delivery RN experience; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients in Labor & Delivery using the nursing process and standards.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary care providers to develop and assist in the plan of care.
• Organize and prioritize plans of care with patient, family and significant others.
• Identify patients at risk and prepare room environments.

Education

Registered Nurse license

BLS (Basic Life Support)

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Associate's degree in Nursing

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
