Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Joseph's South in a full-time role. The incumbent will provide comprehensive nursing care in a Labor & Delivery unit, working a 6:45AM - 7:15PM shift with every-other weekend work and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications include an RN license, BLS, NRP, and an Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). At least 6 months of RN Labor & Delivery experience required; 1 year preferred.

1+ year RN Labor & Delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
Collaborates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others.
Identifies patients at risk for injury and prepares room environment.
